The Santos Tour Down Under is BACK for 2023! Together with a new Race Director in Stuart O'Grady OAM, the Southern Hemisphere's premier cycling event is sure to be an event to remember.
As the first event on the UCI Men's World Tour calendar, competition will be fierce as teams look to get their seasons' off to a positive start. Join us in exploring the beautiful Adelaide countryside, then experience the thrill of the racing up close during live stage viewings.

This is a fully supported tour with daily rides around the Adelaide Region to experience not only the racing atmosphere, but also the culture of this beautiful South Australian State.
Non-riding partners welcome!
Would you love to come to Adelaide but riding is not your thing? We can provide small excursions for you to enjoy while your other half is out riding and with easy access to town, shopping is right on your doorstep too. Share in the atmosphere of the Legend's Dinner, the famous Willunga Hill Stage or even ride with us in the support van if you wish.

PEDAL CARTEL Itinerary*
Day One, Saturday 14th January
Schwalbe Classic Street Race, Arrival Day
Tour included airport transfer to the apartments available until 3pm then head downtown to get your first taste of the action with the Schwalbe Classic street circuit race this evening.

Day Two, Sunday 15th January
Women's Stage 1 (Men's Rest Day).
Ride to Glenelg to watch women's stage depart. Easy ride up the coast to the Port Harbour.
Group Dinner Family style at the apartments.

Day Three, Monday 16th January
Group ride through Adelaide Hills, Norton Summit, Mt Lofty.
(Women's Stage 2)

Day Four, Tuesday 17th January
Women's Stage 3, Men's Prologue 6pm Start.
Group ride Tba.

Day Five, Wednesday 18th January
Men's Stage 1. Group ride to the Barossa Valley for live stage action -multi lap circuit.
​
Day Six, Thursday 19th January
Men's Stage 2. Pre Challenge Fun Ride beach coffee cruise then relax by watching the race live back in your apartments or on the big screen tv in the Race Village.

Day Seven, Friday 20th January
Stage 3 Challenge Fun Ride Day. Ride the course just hours before the Pros then relax and watch as they fight it out to the line.
​
Day Eight, Saturday 21st January
Men's Stage 4. Ride to McLaren Vale and climb the famous Willunga Hill then descend back down to watch the newly created circuit race.

Day Nine, Sunday 22nd January
Men's Stage 5 -New course and finale for 2023. Mt Lofty Ride, Live viewing of the final stage!

Day Ten, Monday 23rd January

Most days will consist of rides between 50-100km at a bunch pace.
Please note that Adelaide can experience high summer temperatures, due to this ride start times and distances may vary to the stated itinerary.
We recommend a good level of fitness to fully enjoy your cycling.

A $500 deposit* is required at the time of booking to secure your place.
Final payment is required by 1st December 2023.
*Deposit is non-refundable unless place is filled then, a $100 cancellation charge applies.
Race routes are traditionally released mid year so, with this in mind our daily itinerary is subject to change.
